Gary Streelman, Director Advanced Engineering and New Concepts for Magneti Marelli Electronics North America. BS and MS degrees in Engineering from the University of Michigan. Currently managing activity related to Infotainment systems, vehicle connectivity and new technology directions. As the Director of Advanced Engineering and New Concepts at Magneti Marelli Electronics North America, Gary's professional focus is on infotainment systems, vehicle connectivity, and new technological avenues, spearheading innovative initiatives within his domain.
I lead and plan usability research through a variety of methodologies such as clinics, focus groups, surveys and more. I specialize in ADAS and CORE UX research but have a background doing customer experience, usability, and ergonomics research as well. I’ve worked in everything from the medical device industry to consulting across the globe before landing in the automotive field.

I’m passionate about making things easy to use and getting people to use them as they are intended! My goal is to make our vehicles easy to use while being safe and fun to drive. I also love to dessert and following a recipe to get the intended results…a delicious treat!!
Neha is a passionate advocate for Human-Centered Design, an Interactive Design Research lead at the Human Factors Design and Research team at Ford Motor Company. She focuses on HMI artifacts, augmented reality studies, and human factors research for advanced vehicle technologies. With a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, she has extensive experience in rapid prototyping and interaction design, specializing in user research, usability engineering, information architecture, data visualization, system thinking, and design thinking. Her previous roles include leading large-scale user research, experimental design at Ford, and user experience design at INVIA Medical Imaging Solutions and Indiana University Health. Neha strives to create intuitive and effective user experiences by leveraging empathy and data-driven design.
John Derkacz is a senior application engineer responsible for designing, developing and installing software solutions at Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA). During his tenure at MEAA, he has designed and implemented new systems and features, as well as modified and maintained existing systems to continually improve business technology. Derkacz has more than eight years of experience in developing software for the automotive, medical, commercial, and aerospace industries. Before joining MEAA, he most recently served as a software engineer at General Dynamics, where he wrote and maintained display software for vehicles. Derkacz received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Kettering University.
