Understanding the scene around the vehicle is central to the autonomous driving task. This problem becomes harder in the absence of HD Maps. Plus’s commercially available, industry-leading highly-automated driving system is HD map optional. In this presentation, we will discuss Plus’s approach to the problem to make our system robust yet scalable. We will also introduce our data engine and how we use events collected from our growing customer fleet for continuous improvement.
