Dr. Thomas Wallner

Manager, Advanced Mobility and Grid Integration Technology Research, Argonne National Laboratory

Dr. Thomas Wallner is the manager of the Advanced Mobility and Grid Integration Technology Research section at  Argonne National Laboratory’s Center for Transportation Research. His team focuses on the experimental evaluation and analysis of advanced vehicle technologies including conventional, electrified and connected and automated vehicles as well as electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Thomas has published more than 100 peer-reviewed technical papers including 30 journal papers and several book chapters. He is an active Fellow Grade member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and has been serving as a session organizer and chair at several national and international conferences.
