Lakshmi Thanayankizil is a Lead Systems Architect for Connectivity at General Motors, where she drives innovation at the intersection of connectivity, user experience, and scalable platform design. With over 13 years of experience at GM, Lakshmi has played a key role in shaping the company’s strategy for connected vehicles, including over-the-air updates, digital UX, and lifecycle support for ADAS functions. Her work combines a deep understanding of human-centered design with the technical rigor required to deliver reliable, future-ready systems. Lakshmi holds a Ph.D. and is passionate about advancing connectivity to support intelligent mobility.
